Harold Rabon Moon, 71, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, departed this life February 2nd at Trident Medical Center. Harold was born October 29, 1937 to the late Cecil and Cleo (Reese) Moon in Washington County, Georgia. He attended Warren County High School and proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy as a Signalman, retiring in 1974. For a short time he co-owned and operated C&H Custom Cabinets, but for nearly twenty years worked as the Office and Sales Manager for Carolina Chain and Cable, a division of ALP Industries, Inc. Harold was an avid Amateur HAM Radio Operator, a skilled carpenter and woodcraftsmen, a consummate gardener, but most of all he was a dearly loved husband, brother, father, neighbor, and friend. Harold will be sadly missed and is survived by his family, including: his wife, Barbara (nee Bonia) of Goose Creek, SC; his son, Richard Moon and his wife, Penny, of Aviston, IL and their children Michael, Abby and Alex;

Harold Rabon Moon, 71, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, departed this life February 2, 2009 at Trident Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2009 at 10 am, McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek, with interment following at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner.

Among her large family of siblings, she is survived by two sisters, Frances Donohue and Dorothy McGee, and a brother, Eddie Bonia, all residing in Massachusetts. Barbara is also survived by several grandchildren and a great grandson.Barbara lived in Goose Creek for 40 years until shortly after her husbands passing in 2009, at which point she moved to Aviston, IL to be closer to Richard and Penny. Barbara was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved to read mystery and suspense novels,
