Ed J. Wiley died at 5 o'clock this morning at his home, one and one-half mile southwest of Pickering, where he had lived for the past twenty years. He had been ill three weeks. Mr. Wiley, a resident of near Pickering all but two years of his life, was born December 14, 1867, near Osceola, IA. He moved to Missouri with his family at the age of 2 years. Funeral services will be held at the M. E. church in Pickering, and burial will take place in the White Oak cemetery. No time for the services had been announced. Survivors are his widow and three children. Glade Wiley, Princeton; Dale Wiley, Sumas, Wash.: Basil Wiley, Grand Island, Neb. One son died in infancy. Two brothers and three sisters also survive: Arthur A. Wiley, Cameron; J. W. Wiley, Pickering; Mrs. B. T. Wray, Pickering; Mrs. W. P. Scott, Pickering, Mrs. T. J. Reznor, St. Joseph.
