The death of Emanuel J. Young occurred at the home of his brother, Dr. S.P. Young, on Sunday. He was a native of Petries, Bay of Islands, Newfoundland, being a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Young and was aged 38 years. He resided at the home of his brother, Dr. Young, at New Germany, for about eleven months. He is survived by his widow who before her marriage was Miss Nora McLellan, of St. George's, Newfoundland, and by his six small children, Leo, Marjorie, Kevin, Mary, Ilene, and Esther. Besides the brother, Dr. Young, there survive two brothers, James of Augusta, Georgia and William of Curling, Newfoundland. The remians left New Germany on Monday, being taken to Bridgewater by motor hearse and thence by train and boat to Petries, where interment will be made. Mrs. Young accompanied the body.
