Torre, 77, a framer Larchmont resident, died after a long illness Thursday at the . Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine. While he resided in Larchmont, he ran his own Ercel service and was an ex-captain in the imaroneck Town Fire Department, his wife of ' 56 years, Juanita Farrell Torre, said Friday. He first entered the ranks of the volunteer firefighters in 1948 and served for 20 years. Mr. Torre and his wife moved to Ellsworth, her home town, from Larchmont six years ago. Son of Maria (Soriamo) and Andrew, he was born Nov. 18, 1905, in Larchmont Other survivors include a son, Andrew of Stamford, Conn.; a daughter, Evelyn Folz of Larchmont; three brothers, Joseph and Emil of Larchmont and Nick of Trumansburg, N.Y4 three sisters, Ann Porcelli and Nell Franadari of Larchmont and Louise Constantinople of Stamford, Conn.; and five grandchildren.
