BROWN, Col. Harvey Lloyd, Jr.- Age 80. Passed away August 18, 1995 at Cedars Health Care. Born in Sumner County, October 4. 1914, he was the son of the late Harvey Lloyd Brown, Sr. and Annie Parilee Taylor Brown.
An army veteran of WWII, he was a graduate of George Peabody College. He taught math and political science over the years at Castle Heights Military Academy, Cumberland and Vanderbilt Universties.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucie Elkin Scott Brown and a son Harvey LeGrand Brown .
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Elkin and Billye Brown; grandson, Casey Brown, Lebanon; sister, Mildred Gambill, Nashville.
His remains rests at the Ligon &; Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main St., Lebanon, where services are Sunday, August 20, 1995 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Roland Scruggs officiating.
Honorary pallbearer, Dr. Jim Hundley. Active pallbearers, Chris Dyer, Ben, Da vid and Randy Johnson, J.B. Leftwich, Randall Hill.
