Arlen R. Pulliam. 67, former Fremont resident, died Thursday, July 31, 1975, at his home in Nucla, Colo. Death was due to a heart attack.
He had been a resident of Nucla for 20 years. He worked for the Vanadium Corp. of America for 12 years and the West End School District for six years before retiring two vears ago.
Mr. Pulliam was a veteran of two years service in the Navy during World War II, and was a member of the VFW post at Nucla. He was also a member of the Woodmen of World.
He was born Aug 16, 1908 at Fremont, and he spent his childhood and received his education in Missouri. He married Dock Stinnett on Jan. 9, 1932 at Van Buren.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Maberry of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs Billie Klepzig of Moab, Utah, and Mrs. Karen Brake of Duchesne Utah; six grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest Pulliam of Bernie MO, Harley Pulliam and Walton Pulliam, both of Birch Tree, and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Colorado.
