Services for Lela Haley Bryant, 86, of W. 18th St., will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Henninger Funeral Home with the Rev. Texil Pyle officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Bryant died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at Jennie Stuart Hospital after a long illness.

A Christian County native, she was born Sept. 21. 1892, the daughter of Milton and Margaret Sadler Haley. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Bryant was employed at Jennie Stuart Hospital for a number of years and also had a private practice.

Survivors include three sons, Howard E. of Bloomfield. Ind., Kenneth A. of this city, and Auta Ray Bryant, Albany, Ga.; a daughter, Beatrice Sholar,4 Adams. Tenn.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
