James Stagner Dies In St. Louis James W. Stagner, 34, native of Bumpus Mills. Tenn., died at a St. Louis hospital Thursday after an illness dating from last January.
The body will arrive in Hopkins ville Saturday morning at 8:18 b rail and will be conveyed to the Wood & Fuqua Chapel. Funeral services will be held Sunday after noon at 2 oclock and burial will be in the Powers cemetery in La layette, Ky.
Mr. Stagner was born in Novem ber of 1913 in Bumpus Mills, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kelly Clin ard Stagner. He moved to Granite City; m., four yean ago. -
Surviving are his parents, his wife, Mary Turner Stagner; two daughters, Nancy and Juanlta of Granite City; five brothers, Leon ard and Oman Stagner of Clarks ville, Route 3; Melvln and Arthur Stagner of Granite City, Fentress Stagner, Guthrie, Route 2, and two sisters, Mrs. Elvin Luton and Miss Hazel Stagner of Orantte City

Mrs. Stagner Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Stagner, 66, of 1305 Hopkinsville Hwy., died Friday afternoon at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She worked in the Byrns-Darden Elementary School cafeteria for 20 years. Services will be today at 2 p.m.
at Tarpley's Chapel by Bro. Tillman Taylor and Bro. Robert Waller. Burial will be In Powell Cemetery in Lafayette, Ky. A native of Christian County, Ky., she was born August 26, 1909, daughter of the late Thomas T.
and Mollie Reese Turner. She was married to James W. Stagner, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1948. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert Waller of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs.
Wayne Covington of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, Y.W. Turner of Pembroke, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Lurton Gibbs of Clarksville, and Mrs. Roy Joiner of Hopkinsville, Ky. ; and four grandchildren.
, She was a member of the Madison Street Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Dorris Joiner, Marvin Joiner, John Turner, Tom Turner, Robert Turner, Rodney Baggett, Del win Harris, and Horace Sugg. The elders of the Madison Street Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers
