Benjamin W Olive, 66, of Florissant, formerly of Farmington, died June 22 at the VA Hospital. He was born Jan 22, 1920 in Ironton to the late Walter B and Florence Spitzmiller Olive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn M Olive. Mr Olive served in the United States Army for 35 years where he was a staff sergeant. He is survived by one daughter, Joan Chandler, of Plainfield IL; one sister, Florence Pollard, of Florissant; two brothers: Luther Olive, of Doe Run and Albert Olive, of Farmington and two grandchildren. A private memorial service was held today at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
