Maebelle N Farrell 85 of 48 Allen St died April 4 1986 at a Brewer health care center. She was born in Livermore, Oct 30 1900 the daughter of Edgar ond Lillian Bassett. She wos a graduate of Lewiston High School and Bates College. She had taught at the college level and had been employed in the insurance industry. She was a member of the Hammond Street Congregational Church and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving besides her husband John W Farrell of Bangor, are one son Ronald Norris of Portland: six grandchildren seven great-grandchildren; sisters ond a brother.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday ot Brookings-Smith 133 Center St Bangor, with Ms Elaine Shaw of the Hammond Street Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be later in the spring in Harts Corner Cemetery East Holden.
